2. Data processed
When you visit this website, we may process technical and browsing data, including IP address, browser and device information, operating system, pages visited, date and time of access, referring website, and security or diagnostic logs.
If you subscribe to the MORPHEUS newsletter, we process the information submitted through the subscription form and evidence of your consent.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data to:
- operate, maintain and secure the website, based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
- analyse website use through Google Analytics 4, only where you have given consent, under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR;
- manage newsletter subscriptions and send project updates, only where you have given consent, under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR;
- comply with legal obligations, where applicable, under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR;
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims, based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
You may withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in newsletter emails or by contacting us.
4. Cookies and analytics
The website uses necessary cookies required for its technical operation. It also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website.
Google Analytics 4 is activated only after consent has been provided through the website’s cookie banner, managed through WPLP Cookie Consent – Cookie Banner & Consent Management for GDPR, CCPA & Google Consent Mode.
Analytics data are retained for 14 months. You may accept, reject or change your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie-settings function available on the website.

5. Newsletter
The MORPHEUS newsletter is managed using MailPoet, including its email-sending service. Newsletter data are used solely to send project news, events, publications and updates.
Subscription data are retained until you withdraw consent or the newsletter service is discontinued, except where limited retention is necessary to demonstrate compliance or respond to legal claims.
6. Recipients of personal data
Personal data may be accessed, only where necessary, by authorised personnel of Shades of Blue società benefit a R.L., authorised MORPHEUS project personnel, and service providers supporting website hosting, maintenance, security, analytics, cookie-consent management and newsletter delivery.
Hosting provider: Hostinger.
The server or data-centre location has not been confirmed.
Service providers acting on our behalf are appointed as data processors where required by Article 28 GDPR.
7. International transfers
Some service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, personal data will be transferred only in accordance with Chapter V GDPR, including through an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another applicable transfer mechanism.
8. Retention
Technical and security logs are retained only for the period necessary for website operation, security and legal obligations. Analytics data are retained for 14 months. Newsletter data are retained as described above. Personal data may be retained longer where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time.

10. Third-party content
The website does not currently embed YouTube videos or LinkedIn feeds. If these services are added, their content will be subject to the relevant third parties’ privacy terms and, where required, prior consent through the cookie banner.

This Privacy Notice may be updated to reflect changes to the website, its services or applicable legal requirements. The current version will always be available on this page.
